How is the caloric burn and METs determined with WOODWAY Treadmills?

WOODWAY uses the ACSM formula’s to calculate METS and Calories.

The formulas used for this calculator are:
Walking VO2 Max: 3.5 + (2.68 x speed mph) + (0.48 x speed mph)(% grade)
Running VO2 Max: 3.5 + (5.36 x speed mph) + (0.24 x speed mph)(% grade)
METs: VO2 Max/3.5

Calories = (WorkoutMETs * 3.5 * (Weight in KG) / 200

I saw a used or refurbished WOODWAY product for sale online or at a local dealership, is it a good value?

There are many organizations offering used or refurbished WOODWAY products. Only products purchased from WOODWAY directly or our authorized distributors can assure quality direct from the factory. The WOODWAY factory warranty is only in effect for purchases made direct or through our authorized distributors. Please call or use our online sales request form with any questions.

Do I need special electrical outlets for my WOODWAY treadmill?

Although WOODWAY treadmills use up to 50% less electricity than conventional treadmills, we do require our products to utilize a 110V dedicated outlet with a NEMA 5-20r recepticle. The neutral line cannot be shared. This is a precautionary measure to assure proper voltage for the treadmill and avoid overloading of circuitry. All treadmill sales require a signed electrical site survey document to assure quality of use. Modification of the factory plug configuration will void warranty.

How does the WOODWAY get delivered?

WOODWAY utilizes a national logistics organization that is trained on the mechanics and delivery nuances of our product. We highly reccomend using them and offer standard quoting prices for inside delivery and dock to dock service.
